  • Dolphin and Whale Watching

  • Fishing

Kalpitiya is an excellent location to participate in fishing, and enjoy the exciting sport of deepsea fishing. Trolling however, as with all sea-based activities in Sri Lanka, is seasonal, with the Western and Southern coasts accessible from November to March. Venture out to sea in a purpose built boat to try your hand at trolling. All required equipment is available at resorts. Read more

To us this place is all about location. Meaning: You will have an almost empty vast private beach to yourself. Just some fishermen, who won't bother you, if you don't want to. You will have to walk about 5 minutes from the hotel to the sea, crossing a stretch of sandy beach and a shallow river.
